Here is a photo of a cross stitch I have just finished which has taken about 2 years to finish, as I went a bit wrong and lost faith so I put it away for about a year. One day I found it tucked in a bag in the loft and decided to have another go. As you can see it looks OK and only on close inspection you can spot the mistake.
