Wedding dress - side view Wedding Dress and Accessories.

I made this wedding dress for a friend of mine who was married last year. It took me two months to make her dress and the matching bridesmaids dresses. The bride wanted a semi fitted dress with delicate sleeves.

This is a side view of the dress which I designed myself . I made a mock up first in white sheeting before attempting to cut the material. I hope you enjoy looking at the various details of the dress as below.

Wedding Dress - back view
This is a rear view showing the train and veil. I hand embroidered the train with the couples initials (detailed picture below), made a matching bag and hand embroidered the veil which was made from  fine white netting.

Wedding dress - back view without veil
This is another rear view showing the dress without the veil. You can see that I also embroidered the back of the bodice.

Wedding dress - front view
This is the front view of the dress showing off the embroidered bodice.

Wedding dress - front details
This is the bodice detail showing the hand embroidered flowers and fine lace sleeves.

Wedding dress - rear view details
This is the rear view of the bodice also hand embroidered and showing covered buttons for the dress opening.

Wedding dress - embroidered initials
These are the bride and groom's initials which I hand embroidered on the train. The bride was absolutely delighted with the result and I enjoyed the challenge of making and designing the dresses and accessories.
