97 Stitching Group

In 1997 members of the North Kent Embroiderers Guild decided it was high time they formed a stitching together group and in May that year several members met and formed what is now the 97 Stitching Group. We stitch together on the third Saturday of the month and coordinate projects and exhibitions.

Our first project was to complete a banner which had been started in 1991. Since then many projects and successful exhibitions have been completed and our membership has doubled.

Stitching together is fun!

Fee: £1.00 payable on the day for members (£2.00 non members)
